Starting on May 2nd, the three day USAV BeachFest National Qualifier tournament took place in Gulf Shores, AL with 229 total teams competing in four different girls open age divisions. Those divisions included 18U, 16U, 14U and 12U. listed below will be the first, second and third place team in each division and their final match scores.
18U
In the finals of the 18U division, Olivia Le Blanc and Janie McCanna beat Jordyn Scribner and Leann Wise in a tight three set match with set scores of 21-12, 16-21, and 15-11. Clara Evans and Alina Ryan claimed third place with a default win over Kamryn McDonald and Bella Scherfenberg in the third place match.
16U
In the finals match of the 16U division, Taylie Hanson and Isabelle Ramos beat Breeze Johnson and Elle Sossong in a close three set match with the final set scores of 25-23, 17-21, and 17-15. In the third place match Christy Boulware and Lauren Leach beat Brooklyn Rosales and Meadow Rosales in a one set match 21-13.
14U
In the 14U division, Julianna Godbey and Ashley Ruschill beat Alaina McGuire and Brylie Milo in the finals in straight sets with set scores 21-15 and 21-12. Nadia Cobos and Brooklynn Poerner won the third place match against Gwen Orth and Reesse Trebisacci with set scores of 21-12 and 21-16.
12U
In the finals of the 12U division, Eleanor Hearn and Lyla Wisdom beat Brehanna Murch and Lucy Murch in straight sets with set scores 21-12 and 25-23. In the third place match Blair Burkett and Bryce Burkett beat Julia Johnson and Avery Kiedrowski in straight sets 21-7 and 21-13.
