LSU Almuni, Kristan Nuss and Taryn Brasher, win back-to-back AVP Manhattan Beach Opens. Nuss and Brasher rallied to defeat Terese Cannon and Megan Kraft in Sunday’s championship of the Manhattan Beach Open, 15-21, 21-18, 15-13.
Representing the United States for the women’s beach volleyball World Summer University Games event were Florida State (FSU) standouts Audrey Koenig and Alexis Durish. Koenig and Durish played the whole 2025 season together at the topflight for the Seminoles boasting a record of 24-9 with wins against notable teams including LSU, Texas, LMU and USC.
Cal’s Portia Sherman and Emma Donley will represent the U.S. on the women’s side of the Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay, Aug. 18-22, 2025.
The University of South Florida (USF) recently updated their official beach volleyball roster for the 2025-26 season. While these may not be the final changes, the roster updates provide a look at the 12 new players that have joined the Bulls for their first official beach volleyball season.
The Central Wyoming College Rustlers Beach Volleyball Team has been honored as the 2024-25 NJCAA Academic Beach Volleyball Team of the Year. With an impressive 3.76 team GPA, they have achieved the highest academic distinction among NJCAA beach volleyball teams this season.
