The Dig 75 features a ranking of the top 75 U.S. junior beach volleyball players in the class of 2025. The rankings group players in three categories, 5-Star, 4-Star, & 3-Star, based on a methodology that focuses on performance in major junior tournaments during the season between November 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025, with attention given to other criteria.
During the ranking process, Dig staff spent hours researching tournament results and integrating other factors to provide the rankings. There are several notes to be considered when reviewing the rankings.
- The Dig 75 is not limited to exactly 75 players. Our goal is 75, however when the results warrant, we may rank more than 75 players.
- If a 2025 player enrolled in college early, that player is not included in the rankings.
- Also, if a player has experienced a major injury that severely impacted play during the 2025 season, those players are not included.
- There were some top juniors that chose not to play many junior tournaments. In these cases, we looked at other criteria in an effort to provide a comprehensive list of the top players.
A final note. This is The Dig’s initial effort to highlight the top U.S. beach junior volleyball players. All ranking systems have strengths and weaknesses. Our effort is to gather different data across different platforms and look for consistency in identifying the best players. While the approach is data driven there is some subjectivity involved. The final 2025 rankings include 12 5-stars, 28 4-stars and 39 3-stars. The list of 4-Stars will be posted on Thursday and 3-Stars will be posted on Friday.
